The Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine supports creative hospital and community-based initiatives that provide health trainees and practitioners with experiences and opportunities to better serve the needs of patients and their families. Current endeavors include: the incorporation of humanistic medicine and interdisciplinary case discussion in educational forums; opportunities for geriatric fellows from various medical institutions to participate in psychosocial learning; access to elder abuse resources and experts; and an Aging with HIV primary care program.
