The Cornell Institute of Geriatric Psychiatry is home to an NIMH geriatric mood disorders center grant, and remains one of the strongest research centers in the Nation in the area of Geriatric mood disorders. Conducted by the Department of Psychiatry, and led by Dr. George Alexopoulos.
