Geriatrics ACE Unit at the Weill Cornell Campus of the New York-Presbyterian Hospital. The Division's unit for providing primary inpatient geriatric care and comprehensive geriatric consultations. Learn more

The Irving Sherwood Wright Center for Aging Research and Clinical Care. A state of the art community based geriatric primary care facility that is the site of training in ambulatory geriatric medicine. The Wright Center is dedicated to improving the quality of life for older individuals by maintaining their highest level of function. Learn more

The Medical House Call Program. A program designed to provide medical care to older homebound individuals.

The Palliative Care Consultation Service is an interdisciplinary team whose goal is to improve the quality of life of hospitalized patients and their families facing the problems associated with life-threatening illness. Our Palliative Care Team offers assistance with symptom management, enhancement of function, physical comfort, quality of life, psychosocial and spiritual support and development of goals of care for patients and their families.

The Hospital for Special Surgery Rotation. Renowned for the medical and surgical care for arthritis, with a specialized rotation in the gait and mobility problems of older adults. Learn more

Long Term Care. The Amsterdam Nursing Home is the Division's primary teaching nursing home and adult day care center. Fellows also visit The Hebrew Home for the Rehabilitation of the Aged in Riverdale, NY to learn about administrative aspects to long term care as well as gain exposure to continuing care communities.

The Neurology and Neurobehavioral Rotation, within the Department of Neurology incorporates the Cornell Movement Disorders Program, the Cornell Memory Disorders Program, and the Cornell Comprehensive Stroke Program

Research. Fellows study design methodology and design and implement research projects in clinical epidemiology, communications, economics, ethics, and other areas of geriatric interest. Fellows present their work at regional and national conferences.
