We are an interdisciplinary group of geriatricians and gerontologists with broad expertise in elder abuse and neglect that is both clinical and academic. Research and Publications: For over two decades, our faculty has diligently brought scientific rigor to the study of elder abuse and neglect.

Clinical Consultation and Teaching: Our faculty has created some of the most well-known and commonly used protocols and guidelines for health care professionals in the field and continues to teach widely on many topics related to elder abuse and neglect to physicians, nurses, social workers, lawyers and other professionals throughout the world.

NYC Elder Abuse Center: Weill Cornell Medical College's Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology, in collaboration with the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Center for Elder Abuse Prevention at the Hebrew Home at Riverdale and the New York City Elder Abuse Network, was recently awarded a grant to study the creation of an Elder Abuse Center.
